Terms of use

Using Dertos AI
Dertos AI is a desktop and web application that transcribes calls and suggests answers. By using it you agree to these terms. You need a Mac running macOS 13 or later, or a desktop Chromium browser, and your own accounts with any AI providers you choose to use.
Acceptable use
Use Dertos where AI assistance is allowed. Check your interview's or meeting's rules first. Do not use Dertos where AI assistance is prohibited. You are responsible for following the rules of the interviews, exams and meetings you take part in, and for any consent required to transcribe other participants in your jurisdiction.
Plans and credits
The Free plan includes one 10-minute session. Unlimited is a one-time payment for a week, a month or a year that includes a set number of hours of call sessions and mock interviews for that period; it does not renew automatically. Credits are consumed at half a credit per 30-minute session or mock interview. Payments are not live yet; the final plan terms will be published before they launch.
Refunds
Refund policy to be finalised before payments launch. Placeholder: requests within 7 days of purchase for unused credits.
Third-party providers
Dertos AI sends your requests to the transcription and AI providers you configure, under your own account and their own terms. Their usage fees are billed by them, not by Dertos. Free tiers may have rate limits and different data policies; check the provider's terms before using them for anything confidential.
Disclaimers
Dertos AI suggests answers; it does not guarantee any outcome, and suggested answers may be wrong. Content protection keeps the overlay out of screen shares and recordings on supported systems, but your operating system still shows its own microphone and recording indicators, and some capture tools may not honour the protection flag. Test before an important call.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
